Building a More Compassionate & Inclusive Culture
Michigan Medicine’s Office for Health Equity and Inclusion is excited to share our LARA-compliant, educational program, Building Toward Belonging: Implicit Bias Training, a one-hour, live course for healthcare workers outside of the University of Michigan and Michigan Medicine. This course will educate our community on why inclusion matters, identify ways to serve as an ally to others, and teach strategies for reducing bias in our decision making and daily work.

Registration Information

To register and view upcoming community sessions of "Building Toward Belonging: Implicit Bias Training (LARA Complaint)," please visit our EventBrite.

If you are an active University of Michigan or Michigan Michigan faculty, staff or learner, do not use EventBrite; instead, visit the Implicit Bias Training for Michigan Medicine page.

Price: $100

The following groups qualify for a $25 per person discount. If you fall within one of these categories, please send an email to [email protected] and request a promo code for the category you qualify for. In your email, please include proof that you qualify. All requests must be submitted no less than 48 hours in advance of the training date and must be submitted BEFORE registering for a session. We cannot provide refunds for discount requests after you have already registered.

This course has been approved for (1) continuing medical education credit through MiCME. If your team has 50 or more participants, you can request a virtual session outside of our currently posted schedule. This session would be scheduled for a time that works for your team and requests must be submitted in this Google form at least 6-8 weeks in advance.
